Memorial services are Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10 am at The Runge Mortuary. There is no visitation. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may go to Schuetzen Park Historical Society, the American Schleswig-Holstein Heritage Society or a favorite charity.
Lisa was born November 30, 1926 in Holtsee, Germany to Johannes and Maria (Holst) Brammer. She attended secretarial school in Germany and was a secretary in the Holtsee dairy until her marriage on May 22, 1948 to Horst R. Bollmann. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1983. They immigrated to the U.S. with their eldest daughter, Barbara, and came directly to Davenport. Lisa owned and operated the Brathaus German Restaurant in Davenport. After her husband’s death, she worked at the Davenport Clinic for several years.
Lisa was an amazing Mom and Oma, who cherished her family and friends, had a big heart and was a nurturer. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and homemaker. She loved children, gardening, walking, needlework, reading and visiting relatives in Wisconsin, Florida and Germany. She will be missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by children: Barb (Curt Wisely) Flynn, Calamus; Sue (Terry) Fischer, Matherville, IL; Matt (Valarie) Bollmann, Muscatine and Tim (Rhonda) Bollmann, Neuburgh, IN; grandchildren: Jon (Anne) Flynn, Davenport; Anne R. Flynn, Grand Mound, Erich Bollmann, Los Angeles; Amanda (Patrik) Toerdal, Nome, AK; Brianna (Christian) Pena; Connor Bollmann, U.S. Army, South Korea; great grandchildren: Addison, Peyton, Sofia Flynn and Bjorn and Edwin Toerdal and numerous nieces and nephews in both the U.S. and Germany.
In addition to her husband, Lisa was preceded in death by siblings: Claus, Detlef, Hans, Robert, Anni, Kate, Helmi, Mia, Magda and Herta.
