Luanna (Bolinger) Brabant

Luanna (Bolinger) Brabant, 80, of Eldridge, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 2:00 PM at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Luanna married Joe Bolinger in 1962. He preceded her in death in 1987. She later married Robert Brabant in 1993. After a long career, Luanna retired from the Davenport Lutheran Home.

She authored two books and enjoyed sewing, crafts and cake decorating, but, her greatest joy was loving her family and her Heavenly Father. She loved her church and always put the needs of others before those of herself.

Luanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. We will all miss her.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert Brabant; children, Dallas, Alan, Linda, Michael, Sherri, Mary, Allen, Larry Joe, Rebecca, and Steven; step-children: Dean, Nathan and Mark; her grandchildren, great grandchildren; and siblings, Marilyn, Melvin, Larry, Charles, Charlotte and Ronald.
