Mandy Hallman-Arps, 47, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on November 29, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 4 – 9 p.m. at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Keppy 4H Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camryn Arps for final expenses.
She was born in Davenport on August 13, 1977, to James and Margaret (Bunyard) Hallman. Mandy graduated from West High School and attended Scott Community College where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree. Mandy was a veterinary technician at Walcott Family Pet Clinic for the past 14 years. Mandy was married to Daniel Arps on November 4, 2023. They celebrated their wedding on the Celebration Belle with close friends and family.
Mandy was passionate about animals and often said the sloth was her spirit animal. She loved visiting the ocean when she traveled out of the country with her friends and family. Mandy enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling but above all, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Mandy loved to party with her friends on the weekends and was always surrounded by the ones she loved. Mandy was very adventurous and outgoing. She had a great sense of humor and was always making the people around her laugh.
Mandy is survived by her husband, Daniel Arps, her father, James (Cindy) Hallman, her sister Angie (Christy) Hallman-Terp and her stepchildren, Daniel and Camryn Arps. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret (Bunyard) Hallman, her mother-in-law, Margaret Arps, and her father-in-law, Delbert Arps.
