Margaret A. Hebeler

Margaret Alice Hebeler, 101, of Davenport, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Davenport Handicap Development Center. Margaret was born on August 14, 1913 in Ashton, SD, the daughter of Patrick T. and Alice M. (Brubaker) Murray. She was united in marriage to Herbert Hebeler on March 2, 1935 in Davenport, IA. She retired from Oscar Mayer after 27 years of service. She and her husband were great dancers.

Survivors include her children, Dorine Anderson, Bettendorf and Robert (Kathy) Hebeler, Blue Grass; two sisters, Mabel Turner, Watertown, SD and Agnes Tostonrud , Elk Point, SD; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren; and several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two infants.
