Marian E. Hendricks

Marian Hendricks passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at Good Samaritan Davenport after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born on Jan 15, 1928 in Louisa County, Iowa, the daughter of Scott and Mildred (Cook) Willey. On August 23, 1947, she married Victor Hendricks in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

She was a bank teller for Northwest Bank 5 years and retired from Wells Fargo after 20 years.

Mrs. Hendricks was a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Davenport.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends, shopping, crossword puzzles and cryptoquotes and enjoyed outside flowers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Croix Hospice, Davenport, IA.

Survivors include daughters Diane Hendricks (Robert Collis), Davenport, IA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Linda and Michael Stoker, Eagan, MN. Grandchildren, Scott Kokemuller (Michelle Pleasant), Sarah and husband Todd Lopshire, Gregory, Andrew and Hannah Stoker. Great Grandchildren, Austin and Braydon Kokemuller, Alivia and Aiden Lopshire. Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Victor Hendricks (husband), Scott and Mildred Willey (parents), Vera Duffy (Sister), Martha Jean Sovers (Half-sister) and Donnie Shull (Half-brother).
