Marjorie A. Eberlein, 88, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Home in Davenport. Funeral services will be Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:30 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Marjorie was born October 13, 1921 in Davenport, the daughter of Frederick and Sadie (Schoening) Aupperle.
She was united in marriage to William H. Eberlein on September 6, 1941 in Liberal, KS; he preceded her in death on June 7, 2005. Marjorie was an avid golfer, bowler and loved animals. She enjoyed traveling with her husband which included spending the winters in Florida.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Phillip Minard, Lenexa, KS; grandchildren: Kimberly Minard, Phoenix, AZ; Matthew and wife Devon Minard, Des Moines, IA, and Michael and wife Elise Minard, Centennial, CO.
