Mark “Mirf” Mirfield, 62, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Visitation will be held on May 4, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a time of sharing beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Weerts Funeral Home. Following services, cremation rites will be accorded. Mark was born on June 4, 1960 in Davenport, IA to Raymond and Patricia (Miller) Mirfield. Mark was a residential and commercial painter and a security guard for many top performing artists for over 28 years. Mark enjoyed his time as a volunteer on the Speedway Fire Rescue (SFR).
Mark spent much of his free time attending many dirt track races across the country. His other hobbies include fishing, bingo, billiards, collecting eagle statues and spending time with friends and family. His larger than life personality will be missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include his loving companion of 30 years, Patricia Anderson; his children, Brent (Tabbatha) Mirfield, Tiffany (Joseph) Thorndike and Melissa Mirfield; grandchildren, Austin, Miranda, Jerry, Hunter, Nathan, Maliyah, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren; Siblings, Dennis, Jeff, Greg and Steve, and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter, Trista Anderson.
