Martin L. Eberhart

Martin L. Eberhart, 86, of Davenport, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport. There will be no public services or visitation at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded as was his wish. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Martin L. Eberhart was born on August 1, 1934 in Ava, Missouri, the son of William and Marie (Miller) Eberhart. On August 8, 1965 he married Betty Noles in Rock Island, Ill.

Mr. Eberhart worked in various capacities at the former Oscar Mayer Foods in Davenport retiring in 1996 after 41 years of service. He also, along with his family owned and operated Acme Tree Service for 47 years prior to his retirement.

Martin enjoyed fishing and hunting mushrooms. He especially enjoyed classic cars and in his younger years was a member of the 'Road Angels' car club.

Surviving members of the family include - his Wife: Betty; his Daughter: Roselynn (Greg) Moyers; his Son: Bruce (Carey) Eberhart; 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Margaret and Dixie; and a Brother Fred.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 Sons: Martin and Marty Joe; a Sister and 4 Brothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Childrens Hospital.
