

Our beloved Cheyenne joined our heavenly father at 9:10 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011 following a fatal car accident in Davenport, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23rd 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Cheyenne was born September 27, 1973 to Wayne and Dru Ballard in Washington, Iowa. She attended college at Scott Community for two years, receiving her AA and then continued her education at Western Illinois University for her Bachelors Degree. She majored in Sociology with a minor in English. She had full intention on going back to gain her Master’s. Cheyenne spent most of her lifetime as a mother and student, who was an enthusiastic writer, poet and singer. Cheyenne was a very intelligent and eccentric person who enjoyed karaoke, spending time with her children, family and many close friends. She was also very proud of her extensive collection of dolphins.
She is survived by her husband, Brad Stufflebeam; their daughter, Gabriella, who is 6; her sons, Cody Burnett and Sean-Luke Farmer; she has two step-sons, Brandon Stufflebeam and Andrew Keefe. Cheyenne also had two brothers, Rusty Ballard and Frankie “Spanky” Ballard; sister, Brandy Ross; 3 uncles: Jim James, John (Kay) James, and Arnold James; 3 aunts: Linda (Ron) Hopp, Missy (Roy) Garza, Edna (Richard) Buettner; sister-in-law, Tracey and L.D. Robenson; mother-in-law: Jean and Bob Rhone; father and mother-in-law: Terry and Jean Stufflebeam. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends; special friends, Mary Ellen Kibling and her son, Kyle and Lisa Otten.
Cheyenne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold James and Mary Moentenich; Merle and Gene Ballard; aunt: Pam (Bob) Surman; uncles Cody and Tony James.
