Massiah Tamia House was born March 15, 2011 in Aurora, IL to Marcus and LaTangela House. From the moment she was born, her inner joy shined. Sharing her joy with everyone she came in contact with. While everyone loves babies, the older Massiah grew, the more endearing people found her.
Massiah attended Hope D. Wall Elementary School in Aurora, Illinois, until 5th grade. Her family relocated to Davenport, Iowa, where she continued her education at Smart Junior High School, she was in 8th grade.
Massiah had a smile that brightened and touched her teachers hearts. They loved her dearly.
Massiah was born with Trisomy 18, aka Edward's Syndrome, which caused her to require special care. She experienced several surgeries and remained strong through them all, until the most recent one when God was ready for His angel to come home.
Massiah took her last breath Friday, December 20th, at home in the comfort and care of her parents and siblings.
Her brother, Denzel Wright and grandfather, William Earl Mitchell preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her loving memories include her mother and father, LaTangela and Marcus House; brothers, LeTarys, Kavon, and Marcus Jr.; sister, Maleah; grandparents, Leola Wright, Rigardo Prewitt, and Dora Pryor; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
