Davenport, IA Funeral services for Michael D. "Captain Billy" Overstreet, 75, of Davenport, will be 11:00 am on Wednesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 9:00 am to service time at the mortuary.

Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael Passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center - East Campus, Davenport.

Michael Dennis Overstreet was born on August 21, 1943 in Davenport, IA, the son of Vincent and Marian (Wriedt) Overstreet. He married Shirley Meincke in February of 1965, they were later divorced. Michael was a member of the St. Patrick's Society, and was an avid Elvis fan.

Survivors include his daughter; Lisa (Ron) Prior of Davenport, son; Aaron (Kristi) Overstreet of Bettendorf, grandchildren; Justin, Mathew, Carter, Michael's companion of many years; Mary Bernauer of Davenport, Mary's daughter; Shelly (Tom) Fritz, and their children, Tiffany and Hannah of Davenport, Mary's son: Steve (Angie) Bernauer, and their children; Raya and Kayla of Bettendorf, brothers; Robert "Buffalo" Overstreet of Ohio and David Overstreet of Bettendorf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Edward and ex-wife; Shirley.
