Mildred H. “Millie” Wilson, 89, of Davenport, went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Central Church of Christ in Davenport. Millie was born on October 29, 1925 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Kauffman) Skaredik. She was united in marriage to Arland Wilson on February 28, 1962 in Davenport.
She had worked for several years prior to her marriage at the Rock Island Arsenal and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and landscaping her yard.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Arland; daughters, Linda, Delores and Arland Elaine; and son, William.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, David.
