

Pamela K. Franklin, 62, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the comfort of her own home. There will be a celebration of Pam’s life from 4:00-6:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Moose Lodge in Davenport with a memorial bingo game at 6 P.M. Memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club or the Moose Lodge. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Runge Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born January 11, 1949, the daughter of Clyde and Reva (Couchman) McBride. She married James Franklin on March 7, 1969 in Davenport. He passed away June 4, 1988.
Pamela worked at MA Ford up to when she fell ill and was a hard working wonderful woman. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and VFW (Women’s Auxiliary). She was very involved with her grandchildren and their activities, enjoyed shooting pool and bowling, was a huge Dale Earnhart fan and an avid Bingo player, and loved her critters.
Survivors include her father, Clyde McBride; son, Jason Franklin & his special friend Wendy McDavitt, Davenport; daughter, Mindy (Chad) Watson, Cedar Rapids; aunt Coy Couchman, unlce Harry McBride; and grandchildren, Kyle, Julian, Sara, and Lily.
She was preceded in death by her husband; mother; and brother, Rick McBride.
