Patricia was a vibrant woman who was always ready for a party. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. She loved to decorate her home both inside and out for every holiday season. She had impeccable taste in clothes and always stood out as the best-dressed one in the room. She was very enthusiastic about her Irish heritage and never missed a chance to tell someone about it. She took a couple of trips to Ireland and got to meet cousins there. With husband Gerry, they founded the Quad Cities Céilí Club in 1998, an Irish social dancing organization. They taught Irish Social Dancing at St. Ambrose Comm University and Davenport schools adult education programs. She was involved with numerous Celtic events in the area, including Irish Heritage Day, Rock Island Erin Feis, Celtic Highland Games, Peoria Irish Feis, Dubuque Hooley, and the Céilí Club’s monthly dances. She was a member of the B.P.O.E. #298 Davenport, the Catfish Jazz Society, the St. Patrick Society, the American Schleswig-Holstein Historical Society, the German American Heritage Center, and the Eastern Chapter of the Polka Club of Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday September 21, 2025, at the Davenport Elks Lodge located at 4400 West Central Park Avenue Davenport, Iowa 52804 at 1:00p.m.
