Patricia A. Barth

Patricia “Pat” Ann Barth, 75, of Bettendorf passed away peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2017 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday January 13, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Alzheimer’s Association. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed at www.rungemorutary.com. Pat was born May 21, 1941 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Ann Dorothy (Heiser) DePooter. She graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in Lee’s Summit, MO. She married Robert Barth on July 26, 1969 in Davenport. Pat was employed at Bow Water Communication Papers (formerly Star Forms) as a sales service manger. She retired in 1997. Pat loved all animals. She later worked part-time for an in-home pet care service for several years. She also enjoyed bowling, golf and traveling. Survivors include her husband, Bob; brothers, Edward (Dolores) DePooter, Bettendorf and David (Jaylene) DePooter, Lee’s Summit, MO; three nieces: Sheree Hand, Karen (Rick) Schafer and Lynn (Gary) Francisco; one nephew, Steve (Lola) DePooter, all from the Quad Cities, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy Stull; brother, Richard DePooter, and an infant brother, Dewayne DePooter.
