Patsy Ann Welzenbach

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Grace United Methodist Church, 2651 Telegraph Rd., Davenport, 52802, with the Reverend Michael C. Jones presiding. The internment will be held at the Rock Island Arsenal at a later date.

Patsy was born November 5, 1940 in Davenport, IA to Delores (Schroeder) Jones McKee and James R. Jones. She attended Davenport High School. Patsy married Kenneth E. Welzenbach on March 3, 1962. She was a member at Grace United Methodist Church for many years where she was a lay speaker and served on multiple committees. Patsy was a loan processor in the mortgage industry for over three decades before she retired. She served on the board of directors at the Scott County Humane Society for many years. Her hobbies included rescuing cats, playing the slot machines, watching Hallmark Christmas Movies on TV; and she was a life-long fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Green Bay Packers.

She is survived by her husband Ken; daughters Lynn Welzenbach and Kelly (Mark) Harris; granddaughters Amber, Elizabeth, and Lauren; future grandson Justin; brothers Jerry and Squeek; sisters Vicki and Gail; over twenty nieces and nephews; too many great-nieces and nephews to count, and her cat Rudy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, six brothers, three dogs, and seven cats.

Memorials in Patsy's memory may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or to the family.
