Pauline E. Conrad

Memorial services for Pauline E. Conrad, 87, of Davenport, IA will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Mrs. Conrad passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at her home.Pauline Esther Roberts was born in Marathon, NY on October 29, 1922, the daughter of Lenard and Alice (Smith) Roberts. On July 23, 1939, she married Durward B. Conrad in Rome, Pennsylvania. They resided in upstate New York until his death in 1992. Mrs. Conrad then moved to Davenport, IA to live with her daughter. Prior to her retirement in 1982, she worked in the packing warehouse at Syroco. Mrs. Conrad was a member of Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport, where she also served as a member of the Altar Guild. She enjoyed reading, word searches, crocheting, and traveling.She is survived by three Daughters: Dawn (Tim) Conrad-Curtiss of Davenport, IA, Sandra (Russell) Eddy of Port Charlotte, FL, Carolyn (James) Reed of Bradenton, FL; a Son: Alan (Jennie) Conrad of Ocala, FL; 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Marlea Carlin; and two brothers: Richard and Gerald Roberts. Memorials may be directed to Risen Christ Lutheran Church Altar Guild or to the E.A. Motto Renal Dialysis Center in Davenport.
