Phyllis J. Fox, 77, of Davenport, passed away at her home on January 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm at the mortuary on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. On June 21, 1953, she married John Fox in DeWitt, IA.
She retired from Wonder Bakery after 26 1/2 years of service and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children: Daniel (Tina); Debra
Sabel; Douglas (Kimberley) and Denny (Terri); eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a twin-brother, Phillip and a brother, Jack.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986, twin daughters, Denise and Diane; son-in-law, Bruce, sister, Lois Bouesslot and brothers: Charles, Ezra and James Holmes.
