Reba A. Eis

Funeral services for Reba A. Eis, 74, of Blue Grass, IA, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow at the Fairport Cemetery, Fairport, IA. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Mrs. Eis died on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.Reba Ann Shelton was born on July 10, 1938 in rural Douglas County, MO, the daughter of Roosevelt and Filia (Hicks) Shelton. On September 22, 1956 she married Jimmie G. Eis in Muscatine, IA. She served her family as a Housewife, Homemaker, and Mom. She especially enjoyed cooking for family and friends.Surviving members of the family include – her Husband: Jimmie; 2 Sons: J. Keith (Patricia) of Davenport, and Robert of Blue Grass; a Step-daughter: Sherry Stear of Muscatine; a Sister: Imogene (Donald) Silvis of Buffalo, IA; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; and her Daughter-In-Law: Jennifer Eis of Davenport.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Sisters: Doris and Lois, and a Great-Granddaughter in infancy.Memorials may be left to the family.
