Rita Holcomb

Rita was born on April 21, 1958 to Clarence and Barbara Holcomb in Davenport, Iowa. She was a Team Lead of Independent Living at Ridgecrest Village for 36 years, during those years she made many close friendships with the residents. During her free time, Rita loved to entertain and socialize with her many friends and family. Rita was an honorary parent to all of her nieces and nephews. She had a very kind heart and was always there for her family no matter the need.

Rita is survived by her siblings: Gary (Kim) Holcomb, Donna (Jay) Exlene, Fred (Theresa) Holcomb, Karen (Harold) Traywick, Penny Gutierrez, and Julie Holcomb; 24 nieces and nephews, 41 great-nieces and nephew; 7 great-great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs Oreo, Plies, and Paco. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Baraba, special friends Ruby Parson and Wilson Bragg; nephews: Gary Holcomb, Shane and Shawn Marvel; and her great-nephew Zymiere McGee. Rita is reunited with her loved one.
