Robert J. "Bob - Sonny" Kronfeld

Robert John “Bob” “Sonny” Kronfeld, 78, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Trinity Pathway Hospice in Bettendorf surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary. He was born on March 27, 1933 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Frederick and Anna (Suess) Kronfeld. He married Carma Jean Thompson on August 18, 1963 in Washington, IA.

Robert was a System Analyst and most recently worked at Crescent Electric up to his passing. He was an Army Sergeant in the Korean Conflict. He was very much a family man and dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Carma; children, Teresa (Laberne) Thomas, Tamara Kronfeld, Joyce (Eric) Steiger, Jacquelyn Kronfeld, David (Rhonda) Kronfeld, Mark Kronfeld, Jennifer (Dennis) Sekharan, Kevin (Carrie) Kronfeld, Julia (Kyle) Ruppel, Janeen (Paul) Taylor, and Michael Kronfeld; grandchildren, Nicole, Steven, Alyssa, Matthew, Kayla, Tristan, Isabella, Ava, Abigail, Christian, and Colton; great granddaughter, Taylor; brothers, Richard (Meriellen) Kronfeld and Ralph (Donna) Kronfeld; and sister, Shirley (Paul) Whitbeck.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
