Robin Leigh Ngo, 56, of Davenport, IA passed away on October 9, 2024 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date, to be announced. Contributions in her memory may be made to the family.
Robin was born on May 16, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of Linda (Smith) and William Bublitz. The family moved to Davenport and Robin joined the workforce following high school. She worked as a receptionist at various companies and was most recently with Raynor Door Co.
The loves of Robin’s life were her three children; Stefani, Austin, and Brody. She worked hard as a single mother to provide for her family and the household was never without love. Whether she was watching the Broncos with Austin or sharing her love of Star Wars with the kids, Robin enjoyed each minute. Her joy was found in the little moments of reading, cooking, and experiencing life with her loved ones.
Moments became all the more precious in February 2024, when Robin was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. If love alone could end the disease, there is no doubt that she would still be with us. Throughout her journey, Robin was always selfless and supportive of others despite the hardships she faced. As we face the hardship of losing her, let us remember that “No one’s ever really gone.” as Luke Skywalker would lament.
Robin leaves her love with her children; Stefani Ngo, Austin Talley, Brody Ngo; her granddaughter, Aislin Toler, and her brother, Josh Bublitz.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Linda and William Bublitz.
