Rodger Walter “RW” Johnson, Jr., 36, of Davenport passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Genesis East. A memorial service will be held from 1-3 on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Fejervary Park, Davenport. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
RW was born on August 29, 1980 in Iowa City, IA. He enjoyed playing football for his high school team. RW enjoyed fishing, putting together models and playing video games. He also enjoyed drawing and was a talented artist.
RW will be remembered for his big heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. He always treated others with respect. RW was the best brother a sibling could ask for!
Those left to honor his memory include his parents Rodger (Mona) Johnson; siblings, Janie Goodwin, Floyd “Bubba” (Sherry) Johnson and Anthony (Sarah) Johnson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Dennis Townsley and Steve Hauschild and aunt, Mary Townsley.
