Ronald Lee Reem

Ronald “Ron” L. Reem, 85, of Bettendorf passed away on January 24, 2025 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A private family service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Ron was born on April 28, 1939 in Moline, IL to Clifford and Bernice (Carrothers) Reem. He graduated from Davenport High School in 1957. Ron proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving from 1959-1962. He was united in marriage to Sherry Lee on August 29, 1965. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2017. Ron worked in sales for most of his career for various companies throughout the Quad Cities. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. He was an avid reader of western novels and history books. He loved his family and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.

Survivors include his children, Scott (Lorie) Reem of Davenport and Lenore Littig of Bettendorf; grandchildren, Steven (Brianna) Reem, Karley Kaasa, Nicole Reem , Megan Reem and great granddaughter, Addison Kaasa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
