Ronald Warrington

Ronald W. Warrington, 78, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center. Per his request cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of his life will be held, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Berean Baptist Church in Davenport. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Ronald was born November 13, 1943 in Estherville, Iowa, the son of Charles Kenneth and Lola Lorraine (Webber) Warrington. He graduated from Orion High School in 1961, lettering in basketball, track and cross country.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a medic. Ron was formerly married to Marjorie Claussen of Davenport. He loved spending time with his family, taking walks and playing the lotto.

Those left to honor his life include his son, Andy (Kellie) Warrington, Davenport, stepdaughter, Rhonda (Tim) Bollmann, IN, stepson, Donald Falbe, TX, grandchildren: LaKayla and Anthony Warrington, Alexis and Sean Wilson, Grayson, Ashton, and Emberly Warrington, Connor and Brianna Bollmann, Darren, Scott, Deidra and Fiona Falbe. Brandon( Kristina) Falbe and Ashley (Jake) O'Neill; great grandsons: Adrian Lee Marshall and Bentley Wilson, siblings: Connie (Don) Peterschmidt, Montrose, IA, William “Bill” Warrington, Quincy, IL and JoAnne (Tom) Koehler, Shell Knob, MO and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Lori Warrington, Niece, Kelly Warrington and a sister-in-law, Margaret Warrington.
