Roy Richardson Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 11AM at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Roy was born April 4, 1970 in Moline, IL to LeRoy and Dorothy (Owens) Richardson. He was blessed to have two fathers, LeRoy Richardson and Jesse Jackson. He was united in marriage to Farrah Fender in December 7, 2006.

Roy was a very hard worker had been employed with Outhouse & Storage To-Go since January 2012. Roy had a radiating smile that touched everyone who met him. He was loved by all and was a great man. Roy was very outgoing and enjoyed fishing. His family was the most important thing to him and he loved bringing everyone together for a BBQ.

Pesch, Missouri, Fabian Richardson, Muscatine, Raquan Richardson, Muscatine, Quantell Fender, Durant, Quantaz Fender Rock Island, Quani Jones, Lewis Lee, Rock Island, and Shamia Lee, Rock Island, mother, Dorothy Whitfield;16 grandchildren; siblings, Jarvis (Brandy) Owens, Carthage, Texas, Rosemary (Calvin George) Harris, Hammond, Indiana, David Richardson, East Moline, Henry (Shnice P.) Sims, Rock Island, Katina Cale, Carthage, Texas, Jessica Jackson, Atlanta, Georgia, Vickie Wickersham, East Moline, and Trudy Jackson, Waterloo; and sibling-in-laws Marsha Fender, Tennessee, Jermaine Fender, Peoria, Terrence Fender, Rock Island, Karra Fender, Tennessee, Jerry Guy, Jr., Muscatine, and Marcus Guy, Muscatine; mother-in-law Mary Fender, Moline and many other loved family members.

Roy was preceded in death by his fathers, LeRoy Richardson and Jesse Jackson; siblings Marcus Jackson, and Charles McCauley; grandson Brock Pauwels Jr.; father-in-law Jerry Guys. Sr. and many other beloved family members.
