Rudolph "Rudy" Shell

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, grandparents, and siblings Wilma Westerfield, Terry O’Neil Shell, and James Olyn Shell.

Rudolph was a loving person who loved family and was a friend to all. He had a bright smile and was known for his laugh, and love of music. He was an accomplished artist and a great poet. He will be missed by so many, and his jovial attitude was infectious to all who encountered him. He has a special place in all our hearts and will never be forgotten.

On November 20, 2023, at home, God decided it was time for Rudy to rest and carried him home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters: Meecheeca McNeal (Melvin Jr.), Rukesha Shell, Detra Wells, Matnisha Sanders, and Lawanca Shell all of Davenport, IA; 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; siblings: Vernessa McBride of Searcy, AR, Mary Helen Shell (Travis), Keith Shell (Emily), and Odell Shell all of Davenport, IA; aunts, Hattie Hill (Edward) of Justice, IL and Kathleen Parks (Fred) of Davenport, IA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
