Ruth A. Ede

Ruth was born December 21, 1946, in Rock Island, IL, to Orin and Mary Elsie Eberts. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal, in 1996, after over 25 years of employment.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 45 years, Al Ede, daughters: Penny Hanson (Logan) and Candi Logan, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Mary Eberts, and sister Norma Nash.

A visitation will be held on January 26th from 5-7pm at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Memorials may be made in Ruth's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
