A visitation will be held Friday April 11,2025 at the Runge Mortuary from 5-7pm. Per Sandy’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Sandy’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Sandy was born on November 1, 1943, in Fort Madison, Iowa to Paul and Alliene (Dyer) Thrasher. On January 5, 1963, she was united in marriage to Vallin Albright. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. She enjoyed playing Euchre, Bingo, the card game Thirteen and she was an avid reader. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Cynthia Albright, Leslie Albright, Valerie Albright; sisters, Paula (Bob) Ryan, Sharon Spotts; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Jennifer, Leann, Curtis, Joshua; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Ranea; granddaughter, Elizabeth and sister, Patricia Connelly.
