Sandra J. Bowman, 72, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Sandy was born in Moline, IL. She married Kenneth Bowman on June 14, 1986 in Bettendorf. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She loved listening to and playing music on the piano, organ and guitar. Favorite pastimes included baking cookies, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; children, Sherri (LeRoy) Kraklio, Roberta Layman, and Jim (Chris) Bowman; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Leach; her parents; an infant daughter; son, Denny Kraklio; granddaughter, Brittney Layman and grandson, Jereamy.
