Sandra A Dick

Sandra Ann Dick, 71, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Trinity Bettendorf. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com.

Sandra was born January 19, 1939 in Davenport, the daughter of Charles H. and Mary (Hannah) Ellsworth. She was united in marriage for nearly fifty two years to Leonard Dick whom she married on September 13, 1958 in Davenport. She was a loving homemaker whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. Together with her husband Leonard, Sandra sold produce for forty years meeting and making many lifelong friends.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Leonard, Bettendorf, sons: Donald Dick, Moline, Travis (Melissa) Dick, Bettendorf; daughter, Phebe (Duane) Lees, Moline, grandchildren: James Devlin Lees, Golda Ann Dick and Jamie Coffenberry; brothers: Dick (Jean) Ellsworth, Denver, IA, Bob Ellsworth, Durant and Bill (Shirley) Ellsworth, Durant, Jim Ellsworth, Denver, CO; sisters, Betty (Mel) Dirckson, Bettendorf, Lois Reixinger, Davenport, and special friends: Tom and Phyllis Lamping and Dick and Iona Inman. Her parents and a sister, Lois Ritter preceded her in death.
