Scott J. Winter-Rasnic

A memorial service for Scott J. Winter-Rasnic, 19, of Davenport will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Scott passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Davenport. Scott was born on July 11, 1996 in Davenport, the son of Jason Rasnic and Bambi Halligan-Winter. He was currently a sophomore at University of Iowa. Scott enjoyed history, reading, and swimming. He loved life to the fullest, always entertaining those around him with his jokes and stories. Scott loved spending time with his family, including his dog Lucy. He also took great pride in his red Mustang. He is survived by his Mother: Bambi Winter; Father: Jason Rasnic; Siblings: Erik Winter, Brandon Halligan, Brianna Halligan; Aunt: Stephanie Hillyer; Uncles: Rob Winter, Mike Winter; Maternal Grandparents: David (Sheila) Winter; Paternal Grandmother: Kathryn Rasnic; and Family Friend: Larry Griffin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Rasnic. Memorials may be directed to the Scott County Humane Society.
