Sharon J. Holtz, 67, of Eldridge passed away Thursday, August 07, 2014 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014 10:00 a.m. in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the mortuary. Sharon was born July 2, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Warren and Lorraine (Hintze) Kroeger. She was united in marriage to Dale Holtz, July 3, 1965 in Davenport. While Dale and Sharon dated, they loved to dance!
She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, and boating.
Those celebrating her life include her loving husband of 49 years, Dale; children and spouses: Darrick (Angela) Holtz, Brian Holtz, Greg (Kim) Holtz; father, Warren Kroeger; twin sister, Karen Carlile; brother, Mike (Vicki) Kroeger and sister Bonnie (Orville) Bock; grandchildren: Andrew, and Kayla; great grandson, Owen.
