Shawna was born on May 19, 1977 in Iowa City to Richard and Ann (Feddersen) Lausen. She earned an associate degree from Scott Community College and a bachelor’s degree from MIAD in Wisconsin.
Before attending MIAD she worked at Hon Industries in Muscatine for 10 years. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree she worked part time at Target and Katun in Davenport.
Shawna was very artistic and enjoyed many types of art mediums. She especially liked making collages from various materials, free hand ink drawings and watercolor paintings.
She will be dearly missed by her parents, Ann and Richard; sister, Lynette Colon, Bonne Terre, MO; brother, Tony Lausen, Houston, TX and her precious cat, Isabol.
