Steve C. Burton, 65, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Genesis East Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, June 15, 2012 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the mortuary. Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. He was born May 1, 1947 in Rockford, IL and united in marriage to Linda Stout on October 14, 1967 in Davenport, IA. She preceded him in death in 1996. Steve was employed at Sivyer Steel for 25 years.
Those left to honor his memory are children, Eric (Nicole) Burton, LeClaire and Lisa Elliott, Davenport; grandchildren, Kelsey, Nicholas, Jordan and Justin; and brother, Royal Burton, Davenport.
