Thomas G. “Pete” Peters, 65, of Davenport passed away March 3, 2018 surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He was born May 7, 1952 to Harvey and Esther Peters, also of Davenport. He was employed by, and retired from, the City of Davenport, where he worked for 35 years. He married the love of his life, Robin Lynn Tague (Davenport) in 1978, and the two went on to have three children; Joseph Peters (Kansas City, MO), Phillip (Erin) Peters (Solon, IA) and Rebekah (Joseph) Rodgers (Davenport, IA). He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, cook, and outdoorsman, but his favorite pastime of all was spending time with his five granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his father Harvey, sister Carol, and brother Denny. He is survived by his mother Esther Peters, sister Barb Arpy (Moline, IL), wife, children, grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
