Thomas Edward Stoehr

A private family service will be held, and he will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

He was born on June 6, 1948, in Moline, Il to Eldon M. and Edith Stoehr (Jensen). He proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1965-1969. Thomas was united in marriage to Peggy A. Lannan on April 2, 1993. He worked for John Deere and later retired from the Rock Island Arsenal. He enjoyed building and fixing things, was very technically inclined, and was a self-taught mechanic. Thomas was a take-charge kind of man and was very loving toward his wife.

Those missing him dearly, his loving wife of 33 years, Peggy; his children Tonja (Thomas) Cordova, Aaron (May) Stoehr, Mandy (Ricky) Armenta; step-sons Michael (Tammy) Foutch, Mark (Christine) Foutch, Jason Foutch; brother Don Stoehr; grandchildren Blythe (Kala) Cordova, Blaine (Cole) Cordova, Elloise Stoehr, Isabella Armenta, Andrew Armenta; step-grandchildren Joshua Englebrecht, Jessica Blankenship, Nathan Foutch, Jules Foutch, Grace Foutch, Gabriel Foutch, Joshua Schreiber, Jacob Schreiber, and Zachary Schreiber, great-grandchildren Emory Cordova, Rhys Foutch, Levi Blankenship.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Faye and Fran; brother Jim Stoehr; and first wife Corabel Williams.
