

Todd Rahe, 39, of Davenport passed away May 4, 2015 at Unity Point-Trinity in Bettendorf. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Private burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Memorials may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley or Make-A-Wish Iowa. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Todd was a 1993 graduate of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated with a BA in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa in 1998. He married his high school sweetheart, Dawn Hanson on May 27, 2000. They have been at each other’s side for 23 years. Todd began his professional career in Cedar Rapids as a Credit Analyst for Firstar Bank. He later transferred to the Quad City area and was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending for US Bank. Todd had a successful banking career of over 17 years and won numerous quarterly pinnacle awards along with an annual pinnacle award in 2013 for being a top performer in the entire company. Todd was active in the community and enjoyed making a positive impact. He was the former Treasurer and board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley being active on the Finance Committee, Board of Governance and annual Golf Committee. He was a current board member of the Catholic Endowment of Bettendorf. In years past he was a student mentor in the Junior Achievement Program, member of the D1 Initiative in Davenport, Davenport One Golf Committee, Bettendorf, Davenport One and Illinois Quad City Chambers. Todd was a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program and St. Ambrose Davenport Leadership Program. Todd valued playing golf, vintage cars, traveling with his family, relationships he formed with his customers and most importantly his two beautiful children. Survivors include his wife, Dawn, daughter, Katelyn and son Brayden, both at home; his parents Dennis and Debbie Rahe of Fairfax, IA; brothers, Curt (Phoenix, AZ) Kyle (Bettendorf) and Chad (Davenport); grandmothers Helen Rahe and Eleanor Schlimmer (both of Monticello, IA), mother-in-law Carol Hanson (Hiawatha, IA) and numerous other loved, extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, LaVern Rahe and Bill Schlimmer.
