I remember when I first saw your pinky toe.🤣 I was so freaked out I thought it was looking at me. It was cocked like a pistol. Ill always miss roasting your life and you just tell me you love me because you know you don’t have anything to say back. Can’t believe that the worst fear I had actually became a reality but dead or alive I’m always going to love you. Goodbye Uncle Travis🖤😭

Travis was our student at Central in Dewitt. A wonderful guy with a loving heart and a beautiful sense of humor. The precious stories we could share. He was very loved and a great part of our memories at Central and beyond. Sending our love. Always know he will be remembered with love and a smile.

Travis and Marshall met around 8th grade. Marshall was small and Travis was bigger. He became Marshall's protector. They both were country boys loving the outdoors &hating the restrictions of school. Travis had a kind heart and his girls meant the world to him. He was so very proud of them. Life was sometimes hard on travis but he kept going he was a very hardworking guy. He will be missed and remembered.

Over the years people have come and gone and we come to accept that as part of life but some come and leave a lasting imprint on our hearts. Travis was so afraid to speak to me when I first met him but eventually he mustered the courage and he would quickly become a frequent visitor to my office with sweets and a smile so big it lit up my entire room. He wore his huge heart on his sleeve and his soul was tender but worn. Life dealt him some serious obstacles and though he fought like hell until the very end; he just could not find the contentment he so desperately wanted. His love for his daughters and closest friends never faltered. Not for a minute. I miss him dearly and think of him often. Wishing there was more I could have done. Forever in my heart as one of the greatest.

Travis, has a very kind heart. One day, while on a trip with friends and I, when leaving the Salvation Army in the van, he was in the front passenger seat, and he noticed some lilac flowers on a tree on the property one would drive by all the time and overlook. The next morning he walked to the end of the driveway (and I know because I saw him and just figured he was going for some smokes at the local gas station). Yet, Travis came back with a load of lilac handfulls for each of the ladies on staff at the building. His caring heart was evident to all, most of the time. Travis, you will be missed here until we meet again over there, where I'm sure you are picking lilacs for all the ladies every day!

I'm sorry for your loss. I'll always remember and appreciate the time I had with him in recovery. He always took time to stop in my office, hug me and tell me how much he loved to bug me.
You will be missed buddy...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I only knew Travis for a short time. He truly cared of others and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He had a kind heart and will be missed
