Ursula E. Niebisch, 91, of Davenport, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Kahl Home in Davenport. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 2:30 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Kahl Home or to a favorite charity. Ursula Stiegler was born September 24, 1919 in Dresdon, Germany.
She was united in marriage to Erich Niebisch on August 14, 1948 in Dresdon, Germany; he preceded her in death on June 3, 2006. They moved to the United States in 1955. Ursula worked for the Davenport Elks and at the Fruitland Store in her earlier years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with her husband.
Those left to honor her memory include many good friends in the Quad City area.
