Funeral service will be 12:00pm Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory Davenport. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Vaughn was born on August 19, 1964, in Moline, Il to La Vern & Margie Ann (Hall) Heeren. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Walton on December 21, 2001, in Davenport, IA. Vaughn had been employed as a crane operator for Black Hawk Foundry for 17 years before moving to Harsco environmental where he has been for over 20 years as a production supervisor.
Vaughn was a former stock car racer and loved to race and work on cars. He was NASCAR fan, Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed hunting and was an accomplished fisherman having won tournaments. Vaughn was a very social person who made friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed friends at work and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include wife Jennifier Heeren, Davenport; 2 sons Brian (Amber) Walton, Davenport, and Blaine Bell, Davenport; sister Connie (Wayne), Feddersen, Port Byron, IL, brother Tony (Jessica) Heeren, Port Byron, IL; and numerous nieces & Nephews
