Vincent Dale Fowler

Vincent was born on April 11, 1926 in Montrose, Iowa, the son of Carl E. and Charlotte (Clingman) Fowler. He married Clarissa May Winfield on November 6, 1945 in Davenport.

Vincent was educated in Montrose, Iowa schools. He helped run his family farm until 1945. He came to Davenport with his brother Carl and worked at Farmall Works from 1945 until 1980. After retiring from Farmall he had his own lawn and garden service until 1995. Vincent was a natural mechanic and enjoyed automobiles, tractors, and his special granddaughter Sarah. He will be loved forever and will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Clarissa; children Carole (George) Kasowski, Karen Montague, Gary (Susan) Fowler, and Damon (Melissa) Fowler; grandchildren, Christine, Shannon, Shane, Nikki, Tony, Sarah and Aleena; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl and Vernie Fowler, and great granddaughter Cheyenne May Cernetisch.
