I meet Bill thru Oak Hill and come to find out we are both CB Chiefs. Learned lots from him, always willing to help out. He had forgot more than I ever hope to learn. He will be missed.

I saddened to hear of Wesley's passing.  He was my cousin and I probably only saw Bill a half dozen times over the years.  I appreciated the fact that he attended both my step dad's and my mother's funerals.  Sorry I won't be able to attend his. May God Bless the rest of his family.

My deepest condolences to Bill's family.  As with many of Bill's friends, there was never enough time to spend with Bill for him to share his life experiences and words of wisdom.  A great guy that many looked up to.  Rest in Peace, Bill.  You've served your country and your community well.  You are missed.

I am sorry for your loss . I worked with Bill at Ruan and usxpress we quickly became friends .he was a very interesting man . i enjoyed our conversation at work and out in his garage when i stopped by . He always had and answer for my questions and was always eager to help . He once took to the gun range because i was interested long range shooting . I was amazed at the talent he had with a rifle and that he was fine with me not having any talent with it at all .he was that kind of a man , always ready to help or offer his wisdom . he will be greatly missed

I am sorry for your loss . I had known bill for years and worked with him  at Ruan . I liked to listen to his story`s and his wealth of knowledge of about anything we talked about .i would stop at his garage and we would talk cars , guns and motorcycles . i enjoyed this very much and i think he did to .I had once talked about rifles and he was eager to take me out and shoot  his at a range . we went out to his club and i was stunned by his talent with it . If you lined up all the people Bill helped in one way or another over the years, I'm sure you could walk around the world on their shoulders. It was a privilege to know him; truly one of the "old breed" and he will be sorely missed. Rest easy, my friend.

I always loved our chats and wish I could have visited more. I will miss hearing the stories from the Old Seabee days. You will be missed and thought of everyday. I miss you Uncle Wes...
