Moline, IL.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisting family with arrangements.William James Slattery was born on August 25, 1934 in Muscatine, IA, the son of George and Elma (Hines) Slattery. He worked as a Technical Writer for J.I. Case and then for the Rock Island Arsenal. He received a B.A. degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.Survivors include his sister, Kathleen M.
