

Brad was born on September 1, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, to Ronald Eugene and Shirley Ann Frederick. He grew up in Odessa, Washington, where he attended school and earned his high school diploma. He later continued his education at Spokane Community College, where he obtained a certificate in Auto Body.
On June 12, 1982, Brad married Catherine (“Cathie”) Groh. They shared 43 years of marriage and raised two children, Kara and Brice Frederick.
Brad worked various jobs around Odessa before he purchased the Odessa Body Haus which he owned for 15+ years, perfecting his craft in auto body repair. After being a business owner, he got the opportunity to work for Farmers Insurance, where he spent the rest of his career. He was known for his generosity, friendliness, and strong commitment to helping others. When time allowed, he worked alongside Keith Schafer and Kolby Schafer doing what he loved most, farming.
Outside of work, Brad cherished time spent with family, hunting, farming, and taking on any project he could fix, restore, or build. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, strength, dedication, and unwavering love for those around him.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Kara (Dalton) Frederick; his son, Brice Frederick; his granddaughter, Emmalynn Ball; his sister, Angela (Daniel) Frederick; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Frederick; his father, Ronald Frederick; his mother, Shirley Frederick; his brother, Roger Frederick; and several cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. The celebration of life will take place at 2355 Dutchman Way, Chewelah, WA 99109.
Brad will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, strength, and perseverance throughout his battle with cancer will never be forgotten. He is loved beyond words, and though our hearts ache, we look forward to the day we reunite again.
