

Christian Charles Rosman, age 81, of Wilbur, WA, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 7, 2025. He was born April 22, 1944, in Davenport, WA, to Fredrick and Dorothy Winter. Two weeks after his birth, his father died from heart conditions. Dorothy remarried Robert Rosman from the Wilbur/Creston area. He adopted Chris, and he and Dorothy gave Chris four siblings: Kathy, Robert, Mary, and Fred.
He married the love of his life, Paula-Marie, on Valentine's Day in 1969. They have two children, Patrick and Maria; four grandchildren, Brianna, Jae, Jack, and Katarina; and three great-grandchildren.
Chris education included an AA, BA, and four Masters degrees: Theology, Philosophy, Education, and Music. From 1978 to 2005, Chris was a music professor at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay, OR. In 2007, he began teaching at Almira-Coulee City-Hartline schools in Coulee City, WA, where he retired in 2016.
Chris will always be remembered for his kindness, patience, and wisdom; and for being an outstanding teacher, loving husband, and hero to his children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula. He is survived by his siblings: Kathy, Robert, Mary, and Fred; his children, Patrick and Maria, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on February 14, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wilbur, WA. Rosary at 9:00 a.m., Mass at 10:00 a.m., with eulogy and reception to follow.
A second service will be held in Coos Bay, OR. Time and date to be announced.
