

Was born on January 7, 1937 in Spokane, WA to Everett and Della Cole. Everett grew up in the Davenport area and graduated from Harington High School in 1955. He then attended the University of Idaho where he played football. After leaving the U of I, Everett served his county in the United States Marine Corp, and was honorably discharged. In 1963, Everett married Karen Cook on December 7 in Wilbur, WA. Everett and Karen worked to grow one of largest Cattle ranches in the area until Everett retired in 2007. Everett passed away May 16, 2015 in Davenport, WA. Everett loved to follow his children’s events and then followed his grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them. He is survived by his wife, Karen Cole, two children Traci Cole, Brad (and Kim) Cole and three grandchildren Cole and Wyatt Evers and Sidney Cole. Everett is also survived by his longtime friend who started as a ranch hand and became family to Everett and Karen, Dave Hubbard and his wife Kris. Their children, Chase and Bryce Hubbard will always be grandchildren to Everett and Karen. He is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Della Cole. He is a member of the Davenport Lions Club; Lincoln County Cattleman’s Association and was a past President and state director for the Lincoln County Cattleman’s Association. Everett enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking trips to Alaska with family and friends. Everett also enjoyed his time at coffee with the boys in town. He loved a good story. Most important was his ranch, where he loved to spend his time. Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the CHAPEL OF STRATE FUNERAL HOME, DAVENPORT, WA. Mr. Cole will lie-in-state at Strate Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from Noon – 4:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation or donor’s choice.
