So many words come to mind to describe Kathy. Special, caring, kind, integrity. I had gotten a card to give to her, to let her know how special she was but unfortunately it just sat on my desk. Kathy, my card to you read, "SPECIAL" is the word that best describes you...Special is a word that is used to describe something one of a kind, like a hug or a sunset or a person who spreads love with a smile or kind gesture. Special describes people who act from the heart and keep in mind the hearts of others. Special applies to something that is admired and precious and that can never be replaced. Special is the word that best describes you." Written by Teri Fernandez. Kathy this card is you in every way my dear friend.

I will always remember Kathy's smile and the pleasant conversations we had together. She will be greatly missed as she always had a kind word and a greeting for everyone even for the defense attorney. I am so sorry for your loss and I thank you for the sacrifice you made that allowed us to have these pleasant memories of Kathy for the rest of our lives. Dave Hearrean
