

Born March 18, 1941 in Seattle, WA to Joy (Jay) C. Briggs and Gertrude (Trudy) A. Shiner Briggs, Ken was only 14 years old when his Mom - Trudy died. When Ken was 16 Jay married Chloris Fischer Wahl, together they ushered Ken and his brother Jack into adulthood in Everett, WA.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and SCUBA diving. SCUBA diving lead him to meet Barbara Doyle, whom he married on March 20, 1965. Together they raised four children, Timm, Patti, K.C., and Cindy. Ken worked most of his life in sales and as a consultant.
Ken loved to tell stories and share laughter. He had many grand adventures in life, and the stories were even grander. Ken’s children are grateful for the community he found in Lincoln County.
Preceded in death by his parents: Trudy & Jay Briggs and wife: Barbara Briggs. Ken is survived by his brother: Jack Briggs (Sally); son: Timm Briggs; daughters: Patti Briggs (Allen Smith), K.C. Briggs-Hunholz (Heather) and Cindy Leonard (Ryan); four grandchildren: Parker Leonard, Emily Leonard, Meghan Smith, and Ollie Briggs-Hunholz and nephews: Eric Briggs (Michelle) and Rob Briggs (Sunshine).
