Lillian Roth

Passed away at her home in Reardan, WA on January 2, 2012. She was born on August 12, 1925 in Oakdale, LA to Frank and Mary (McDaniel) Wessel. She married William G. Roth in Beaver Creek, LA on June 16, 1944. After William retired from the military, they moved to Harrington where they farmed for many years. She is survived by her husband, William, at the home; three children: Gary Roth and Karen of Ferndale, WA, Deborah Roth of Reardan, WA, and Lory Roth of Deer Park, WA; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister: Chelsea Fuselier of Pine Prairie, LA as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jim Roth in 1970, her grandson, John Flowers in 1981, and her sister, Frances. She attended Reardan Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for holiday meals. She also enjoyed entertaining, gardening; camping and she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Roth taught Sunday school in Harrington for many years. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Reardan Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Reardan, WA from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Christian Heritage School.
